Avalon McLean-Smits (she/her) is a talented and multi-faceted production designer and set decorator. Despite growing up in the film & television industry - she SAW THE circus AND still wanted to be in it.
not realizing that her childhood love of paint chips and ikea showrooms could actually translate to a career in film and TV - she spent the beginnings of her career in marketing, post production, DEVELOPMENT, & producing before she discovered in 2014 that production design was her soul mate job. She has been designing and decorating sets ever since.
Avalon’s extensive background in the industry and A NERDY film studies degree not only add to her list of talents and experience but they make her undeniably helpful and a joy to work with.
From cubicles to forest fires to studio builds to sex dungeons - Avalon has done almost everything and she can’t wait to do more.
